Arrival. Meeting with experienced instructors. Acquaintance.

Safety briefing and floating craft rules of conduct. Preparation of floating craft to rafting. Trying-on and dressing the required equipment: helmets, life jackets, dry suits.

Start of rafting along Cheremosh mountain river on Gumotex rafts (route: – Ust-Putyla village – Tyudov village).
The route is started at the confluence of the mountain rivers, namely, White and Black Cheremosh. The section, along which the rafting is made, is approx. 32 km long. In this place the river flows in a narrow deep mountain valley with steep, forested banks. The river is winding in its course; in some places it is divided into several branches. The thresholds, which can be found, are a random accumulation of boulder stones. Dinner (lunch box).

Sokilsky threshold is located near the famous “Tyudov wall”, the monument to Shevchenko.. The river here makes a sharp right turn. Gamovanka threshold is located on the right branch of the river (Rivnya village) and is a drain with a drop of up to 3 meters. On the bank there is an accumulation of boulders on both sides.

The history and culture of high-altitude places – Yavoriv village (the manufacture center of woollen carpets (lizhnyks)), Bukovets village (stop at Bukovets pass 836 m)).

Arrival in Kryvorivnya village, Verkhovyna district. Visit to the Church of the Most Holy Mother of God built in 1719. Reference data: The Church of the Most Holy Mother of God, located in Kryvorivnia village, is one of the oldest churches of Hutsul region. We first heard of it in the 1660s. At that time, it was built and opened on the other side of the river of the village. The church was moved to its current location in 1719. Three and a half centuries have passed since its construction, but the church has reserved its original authentic appearance. By efforts of the Kryvorivnia community the roof was covered with shingles, the small domes under the crosses were wrapped in copper plates, which chime in with the covering, last year. As a result of the conducted works, visit to the church gives us not only emotional poise and peace of mind, but also returns us in past centuries.

Arrival in Verkhovyna village (formerly known as “Zhabye” is the center of Hutsul region of the Carpathians). Visit to the house-museum of the film “Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors” made by the famous and talented film director, Sergei Parajanov. Excursion program of museum.

Visit to the house-museum of polonine household. Demonstration of preparation process of Hutsul brinsen cheese with tasting.

Departure by comfortable minibuses “Merсedes Sprinter”. Continued excursion program of stay. The history and culture of high-altitude places – Iltsy village (view of mythical peak “Pip Ivan” (2024 m), Krivopillya village (stop at Krivopillya pass (1013 m)), Vorokhta village (complex of active ski jumps “Avangard”).

Arrival in Yaremche (recreational rest area of “Hutsulshchyna”).

Dinner in ethnic Hutsul restaurant “Hutsulshchyna” (the most famous restaurant in the Carpathians).

Entertainment and expensive program “Hutsul shopping” in one of the largest souvenir markets.
