MEETING NEAR THE HOTEL

Details: The presenter congratulates the quest participants in Lviv and emphasizes the necessity of being careful during the excursion and educational program.

Acquaintance with tour guides- local studies experts of tourist agency “Lokal”. Details: Five tourist guides-local studies experts with a sheet of A-4 format with indication of numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 will be at the central entrance of the hotel complex. Formed teams go to their numbers. Acquaintance is passed and the excursion program begins.

EXCURSION PROGRAM

Stop at the historical part of Lviv — “Rynok Square”. Details: each team, together with their tourist guide, go in different directions of the central historical part of Lviv. The excursion program, where each tourist guide-local studies expert communicates exclusively with his team, begins. During the review excursion program, attention is focused on the historical monuments of architecture, streets and buildings. Some objects, to which the tourist guides will pay attention, will be used in the future as the quest tasks. During the review excursion program, the teams, together with the tourist guides, will visit several unique museum-restaurants, which in the future will be involved in the quest tasks.

DINNER BEFORE QUEST

Dinner in famous museum-restaurant “Kryivka” in Lviv. During dinner a trio of musicians play, who is creating a cheerful ambience. Details: It is the most visited establishment in Europe: 1.000.000 visitors per year. It lives under the slogan “The Struggle Continues”.

QUEST

Meeting of all quest participants at the “Market Square” near the fountain with the figure of Diana. The presenter introduces the active participant of the quest – the jew-informer. Details: The jew-informer randomly and theatrically gives the order names to the teams: “Franciscans”, “Jesuits”, “Carmelites”, “Dominicans”, “Bernardines” as well as the multi-coloured ribbons (team colours). After that, the jew-informer gives the letters to the team captains with the task list (the point number is indicated against each task). Details: the jew-informer will always be in the “Jewish kneipes” at Drevneievreiskyy str. You can buy the quest hints from him with earned points.

Start. Details: Just before the teams go to perform the tasks, the presenter notes that the quest end and the scoring will be done in the “Italian patio”. The doors of “Italian patio” will be opened only at 06-00 p.m. The door will be closed exactly at 06:01 p.m., therefore it is necessary to reach in time so that the efforts are not in vain.

Quest. Details: How to perform the tasks – individually or collectively – everyone decides for himself/herself. There are more questions than can be completed during that period. This is the feature. The cost of the performed task in points is different, which means that the teams get to choose which tasks to perform – easier and less valuable, or more complicated, but more valuable. During the quest you can buy the quest hints from the jew-informer. Then the jew-informer writes down in the debt book, to which the team and how many hints he gave and, accordingly, the point number that need to be taken away as a result.

QUEST END

“Italian patio”. Details: Ceremonial greeting of the teams by the presenter to acoustic equipment. The teams are met by magical minstrelsy dressed in medieval clothes. The team representatives go to the presenter and show all their achievements. The jew-informer indicates the total points that were used as a hint according to the records of the debt book. While counting, the Lviv magical minstrelsy are dancing the first demonstrative medieval dance. After this dance, the minstrelsy attract the quest participants and teach the master-class.

Announcement of the quest winners by the presenter. Details: It is announced in a festive atmosphere with musical and acoustic accompaniment. The teams are awarded with the “gifts of Lviv”.
