TOUR PROGRAM

Breakfast in restaurant of hotel complex. Resorts: Yaremche, Tatarov, TC “Bukovel”.
08:50

Gathering at the summer area of the hotel complex. Getting a rain cape in case it rains. Important: don’t forget the company flag !!!
09:00

Acquaintance with members of mountain search-and-rescue detachment. Ascent training.
09:20

Departure by comfortable minibuses “Merсedes Sprinter” accompanied by members of mountain search-and-rescue detachment to Lazeshchyna resort, Rakhiv district, Zakarpattia region.

Arrival in Lazeshchyna resort. Group transfer into off-road vehicles “GAZ-66” (Hutsul Hummer controlled by experienced drivers).

Departure by off-road vehicles “GAZ-66” on the route of Lazeshchyna resort — Kozmeshchik stow — Skopesk polonine (1518 m).

Arrival in Kozmeshchik stow. Registration of group at entry checkpoint of SE “Yasinyanskoye forest and hunting economy”.

Departure by off-road vehicles “GAZ-66” to Skopesk polonine (1518 m).

While travelling: stories about the mountain ranges of this region, overview of landscapes, stops, photographing. We pass the route part along the natural soil road, smoothly climbing the mountain through a coniferous forest.

Arrival in Skopesk polonine. Start of ascent of mt. Hoverla. While ascenting the nice views of mt. Petros (2020 m) and Hoverla (2061 m) can be seen southwards. The path leads to the mini-peak of the ridge, which is called Komen (1850 m).

To reach the highest peak in Ukraine, it remains to climb more than 200 meters.

Rest at peak. Dinner (lunch-box). Stories and informative data about the peaks of Chernogora ridge. Hoverla is located in Chernogora mountain range, which is 17 km from the border with Romania, on the border of the Zakarpattia and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. This is one of those Ukrainian miracles that makes Ukraine famous. First of all – due to the height, which reaches 2061 m above sea level. At the peaks of Hoverla there is a slab, in which capsules with the ground from all Ukrainian regions were placed. A metal cross and flagpole, on which the Ukrainian flag flutters, are installed upon mt. Hoverla.

A several-meter obelisk, which once divided the borders of Poland and Czechoslovakia, is also installed here.
