PROGRAM OF STAY

09:00

Breakfast in restaurant of hotel complex. Resorts: Yaremche, Tatarov, ТC “Bukovel”.

Meeting at reception of hotel complex.
10:00

Departure by comfortable minibuses “Merсedes Sprinter” to Yasinya village, Rakhiv district, Zakarpattia region.
11:00

Arrival in Yasinya village. Group transfers into off-road vehicles “GAZ-66” (these vehicles are driven by experienced drivers who carry out the regular winter transportation on the route of Yasinya village – SR “Dragobrat”).

Departure by off-road vehicles “GAZ-66” (local Hummer !!!) on the route: Yasinya village — Dragobrat stow — root of mt. Stig (1705 m above sea level) — Gereshaska high-altitude lake (1577 m above sea level). The group is accompanied by the members of the mountain search-and-rescue detachment of Yasinya village and tourist guides-local studies experts.
Interesting while travelling:

When moving, the stops in Dragobrat stow are carried out (active ski resort at an altitude of 1400 m above sea level) and at the peak of mt. Stig (view of Svydovets ridge, which is located south-eastwards of the highland of the Ukrainian Carpathians and is considered the center of Europe). Photographing of high-altitude lakes Apshinets (1487 m above sea level, length 126 m, width 100 m, area 1.2 ha, depth up to 3.3 m) and Vorozheska (1450 m above sea level, of round shape with a diameter of 95 m, area 0.7 ha, depth up to 4.5 m).

Arrival. Rest and informative stories by a local studies expert on the bank of Gereshaska high-altitude lake (Reference data: Gereshaska lake (alternative names — Vyshne-Gereshaska, Dogyaska) of glacial origin. Mt. Dogyaska (1764 m) of Svydovets range is located on the south-western slope at an altitude of 1 577 m above sea level. It has length 125 m, width 110 m, area 1.2 ha, depth up to 1.2 m. It feeds mainly on snow waters. The kettle hole has the shape of irregular rectangle, limited by a wide stained rampart. The northern banks are overgrown with sedge. The water temperature is low (in June + 10 °, 11 °), however, in summer, when the weather is constantly warm, it warms up.

Departure by off-road vehicles “GAZ-66” to “Bukovinka” polonine.
15:00

Arrival. Dinner (picnic) in the open air. Treating with local Transcarpathian cuisine (sheep cheese “buts”, home-made green bacon, “Dovbush chowder with porcini mushrooms” and hutsul banosh with brinsen cheese). Tasting of local bitter “Zolotoy koren”.

Departure by off-road vehicles “GAZ-66” to Yasinya village, Rakhiv district, Zakarpattia region.
16:40

Arrival. Group transfer into comfortable minibuses “Merсedes Sprinter”.
17:00

Departure by comfortable minibuses “Merсedes Sprinter” to resorts: Yaremche, Tatarov, TC “Bukovel”.

Arrival in hotel complex.
